Empower Team
Empower Team is a recreational team at BCS, designed specifically for students who desire a lower time commitment, and want to perform and compete for fun! Team members are required to attend their rehearsal(s), one technique class each week, two dance competitions in the spring, and the annual recital. There is no audition required for Empower Team members, however enrollment by August 18th is required in order to participate.
BCS Company
BCS Company is a competitive dance team consisting of serious dancers ages 4 and up. Company Dancers participate in regional dance competitions, conventions, and a national finals. They are required to attend weekly rehearsals, technique classes, ballet, at least 4 regional competitions, the annual recital, and 1 national finals. Every other year, the team travels out-of-state for national finals. Company members are also given opportunities to participate in optional local competitions and conventions, outside of their requirements.
BCS Company will have routines competing in all three levels of competition: novice, intermediate, and advanced. Routine levels will be decided by the team directors.
Admittance onto BCS Company is by audition only. If you review all of the information and realize the commitment is not for you, or that you have a conflict with an important date, we welcome you to continue taking technique classes, or to sign up for Empower Team!
