Classes
EVALUATION REQUIRED FOR ENROLLMENT. Ballet is a fundamental base for many dance styles, and provides dancers with training in proper technique, discipline, grace, precision, and classroom etiquette. Edge Ballet class will start serious young dancers on their path of formal training using the Vaganova syllabus. Students will develop strength, flexibility, correct posture, and body alignment through work at the barre, center, and across the floor. Enrolling in 2 classes per week is required. This class does not participate in the recital.

Tuesdays: 4:00-5:00pm, Studio 1
Wednesdays: 4:30-5:30pm, Studio 1

$72 per month, per class
due in 9 installments on the 1st of Sept-May
Tuition includes 2 emergency cancelations per season
Dress Code
Girls wear a black leotard, pink or skin-tone tights, and pink stretch canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be in a bun. Boys wear a white t-shirt or tank, black shorts or pants, & black ballet shoes.

Pointe reinforces the fundamentals of ballet while strengthening the dancer's body. Students in EDGE Pointe & Variations will work on rolling up and down, tendu exercises, echappé, pas de bourrée, piqué turns, pirouettes, piqué fouettés, and more, in addition to expanding their repertoire in variations. Dancers learning variations choreography will be required to participate in recital. Not all dancers will be required to learn solo or small group variations, and all dancers with approval are welcome to enroll to continue pointe technique training.
Admission into the Pointe program is by instructor approval only, and new students should contact the front desk to schedule a Pointe evaluation. Enrollment in a Vaganova Ballet class is also required.
