At BCS, we are committed to the training of each student who comes through our doors.  We desire for each of our students to feel valued and important.  While experiencing a high level of professionalism in our staff, programs, and processes, students will see the highest level of quality training and growth.  BCS is a results-focused studio, but we also hope to instill confidence and motivation in our students as they learn to be empowered and take risks.  Even the youngest students can do amazing things, and we don't put limits on what any student can achieve!

Our studio is structured in two sessions: 9 months from September to May, and 3 months from June to August.  The first semester focuses solely on expanding technique and student growth, while the second semester adds literature and performance.  Our summer session is reserved for intensives, private lessons, and fun camps!

We are proud to have many top teaching professionals, working actors, musicians, and choreographers as part of our team at BCS!  Our staff works with students of all ages and abilities, continuing to challenge and encourage them as they grow.  Click below to take a closer look at what makes these members of the BCS family so unique!

Our Story

BCS began in 2009 with 14 students, one dance studio, and two tiny music rooms.  After performing and teaching for many years, Sara Schreiner and Brynn Arseneau envisioned a collaborative artistic experience in which students could learn multiple disciplines all under the same roof.  They sought to use their knowledge of the performing arts industry to give students high-quality and professional training, as well as provide a community of artists who supported and encouraged each other.  In 2010, the tradition of blending disciplines in the end-of-year recital began, and it has continued each year.  Dancers, actors, and musicians of all kinds combine their talents to create a truly unique performance experience each spring.

In 2012, BCS established its competitive dance team, brought in additional seasoned instructors, and also began its first expansion.  An additional studio and new music rooms were built, making room for more than 100 students who called BCS their second home.  Another studio and a boutique were later added to accommodate the growing programs, including "Beyond Barriers," the dance program for students with special needs.

Now celebrating over 10 years, and a national dance championship under its belt, BCS has seen its students go on to prestigious universities, conservatories, and careers both inside and outside of the performing arts.  BCS continues to bring in top industry professionals to instruct weekly classes, lessons, intensives, and masterclasses, and memories continue to be made by all members of the BCS family.  Come be a part of the story, and start making your own memories today!
