Versatility in the arts is becoming increasingly more important!  Beyond Broadway class at BCS will help you to become a more expressive performer, while blending acting, singing, and dancing techniques.  You'll see improvement in each aspect of performance as you learn several musical theatre numbers throughout the season.  Confidence?  Check!

Program Structure

Weekly

Vocal and full-body warm-ups are conducted to prepare students for class rehearsals.  Students will work on basics of acting and vocal techniques, while rehearsing a scene and song from a popular musical.

1st Semester

The class will work on several scenes/songs from different musicals, while integrating choreography into acting and singing.

2nd Semester

Musical selections are finalized, and the class begins rehearsal for two performances in the Performing Arts Recital.
