Experience your child's first dance class right along with them! Watch your little one learn to love the art of dance while developing rhythm, musicality, coordination, and gross motor skills. One parent, caretaker, or relative should attend each week with the child. This is a non-recital class.

Pre-Ballet introduces little dancers to the basics of ballet technique! Dancers will learn the positions of the arms and feet, plié, relevé, tendu, musicality, and more! This class is done independently, without a parent/guardian in the room. Dancers who may not be ready for an independent class should enroll in our Dance Buddies class.

Now is the perfect time to explore the arts with your child, and to watch him or her grow in discipline and confidence! Tip & Tap will get your child up and moving, while instilling a long-lasting love of dance in each little heart! The class is divided into both Ballet & Tap sections. Students will continue learning ballet basics including body positions, chassé, jeté, coupé and bourrée. They will be introduced to basic tap techniques such as toe tap, heel dig, step, brush, and shuffle. Students will have a minute to change shoes between each section of the class. This is a recital class, and students will perform 2 dances.

Hip hop is a high-energy style that teaches dancers to stay grounded, perform isolations, and loosen their bodies. Â Young dancers will learn the fundamentals of hip hop while having fun dancing to their favorite upbeat songs!

Pre-Jazz is a perfect class for dancers who are up for a new challenge, or want to explore new styles! Dancers in this beginning Jazz class will learn proper jazz technique, rooted in ballet. They will also develop stage presence, performance skills, and flexibility. All classes will begin with a warm-up, and will incorporate technique drills, progressions, and choreography. This is a recital class (not mandatory).

For students starting out in acro & tumbling, many of them begin at home by experimenting with chairs, walls, and beds!  This class is the best place for them to learn how to safely execute all the moves they are dying to do!  Developing flexibility, balance, and strength is the core objective in this class. Students will be taken through a variety of cardio & strengthening exercises, cobra series to develop back flexibility, and balancing exercises such as headstands and poses on relevé. Crab walks, wheelbarrows, assisted forward rolls, and assisted cartwheels will be introduced. This is a non-recital class.
